Installation manual for linear shower drain, drainage gutter
Seal the upper surface of the grid with a masking tape (i.e. painter's tape) to protect the grid from scratching during the assembly. Next connect the trough with the siphon, so that a seal fits between these two elements, then press it to the grit ring. Next put the siphon hose in the drain leading to the sewage system.
Connect the siphon to the sewer pipe. If there are other pipes in the building, use the regulator to reach the right size outlet.
Place the trough in the correct position so that the upper surface is about 2 mm below the anticipated upper surface of the shower floor. When positioned, the trough should be covered with a fast-drying cement mortar in several places to stabilize it. Check if the position of the trough is correct, if not - correct the position. After the adjustments wait until the mortar dries and sets. Fill out the empty spaces around the trough with a mortar over the entire surface of the shower tray to the level of the frame.
On the previously located surface and on the side of the trough place a liquid insulating film. On top of the liquid insulating film apply a sealing tape and then cover the insulating tape again with liquid insulation.
After completing all the steps the tile adhesive can be applied on the prepared surface. NOTE: Leave a gap between the tile and the trough and fill it with a silicone adhesive for higher bonding strength.
